Collections of items gathered by Rev. Dr. Sheldon Jackson, a missionary to Alaska in the late 1800s, are shown at the Sheldon Jackson Museum. Reflective of the various native cultures of the state, the museum displays everything from small pieces of jewelry and children's toys to totems, masks and kayaks.
