The historic Russian Bishop's House was originally built in 1842 as the headquarters for the Russian Orthodox church's diocese that spanned from California to the Siberian Kamchatka. Today, the beautiful house is one of the last remaining examples of Russian Colonial architecture in all of North America. The historic site is located in the center of the city, just a few blocks north of the waterfront.
